Expand your flying domain when you add an instrument rating (IFR) to your current pilot license. The next step in your pilot training, this rating allows you to operate in low-visibility environments such as heavy clouds or rain.
If you are looking to improve flight safety, be able to fly more often instead of being grounded due to weather or interested in pursing a flying career, than this is a must in your training flight path.
Dedicated students can complete IFR training within a month, but some students may take several months based on their individual circumstances. We are able to help you complete your IFR at your desired pace, including the option to train using our Redbird FMX flight simulator to minimize delays that may arise due to inclement weather.
Please note these rates do not include the cost of housing, exams or check rides, and are an estimate based on minimum training requirements. Costs could be more depending on how often you fly and how quickly you absorb and retain the course curriculum.
Based on a training package in our Cessna 172 and simulator. The student may request simulator time be substituted with additional flight time or an alternate airplane model, at an additional expense.
