Q: How did you get into flying?
A: I started working in aviation when I was 18, as a mechanic, and I finally decided to do a discovery flight.
Q: When did you know you wanted to be a pilot?
A: During my discovery flight.
Q: What do you think is important when choosing a flight school?
A: Make sure the school/instructor follows some type of curriculum or lesson plan.
Q: What do you like most about being an instructor?
A: I enjoy seeing my students grasp new concepts and grow as pilots.
Q: What is your most memorable flying experience?
A: Inflight emergencies are always memorable.
Q: What advice would you give students?
A: Start studying.
Q: What advice would you give individuals interested in instructing?
A: Put your students’ first.
Q: What’s next for you?
A: Additional instructor ratings before moving on to airlines or corporate flying.
Q: If you could fly anywhere, where would it be?
A: I would love to fly around the entire United States.
