CAREER PILOT PROGRAM

Tuition-based, Part 141 Training
100% Financing Available
Zero Flight Experience Needed

Because all students excel at varying rates, most flight training programs are advertised at the FAA minimums, which don’t factor in additional flight hours or expenses such as books and check rides. The Sterling Flight Training Career Pilot Pathway is tuition-based, giving you a price, you can trust by taking the guesswork out of planning and allowing you to budget your training experience accordingly. With this plan check rides, online courses, testing fees, and many other training-related costs are all included (please note medical exams are not included as that cost is paid directly to your medical provider).

Training commences on the first of each month. Students wishing to enroll must have completed the following before their desired start date:

  • Obtained financing through one of our partners
  • Obtained a first-class medical certificate
  • Applied for a student pilot certificate
  • Completed Sterling Flight Training Enrollment agreement and supplied all required identification documents

This program is intended for students beginning from zero experience and cannot be utilized by students enrolled with a university partner. Students enrolled in this program are expected to maintain full-time status, meaning have a minimum of 3 lessons per week (flight or ground) in pursuit of either

  • private pilot certificate to certified flight instructor OR (estimated 16 month timeline)
  • private pilot certificate to multi-engine instructor (estimated 24 month timeline)

Students that already possess a pilot certificate and/or ratings may be admitted to the program after review of their application. All Career Pilot Program graduates are **guaranteed a CFI interview upon successful completion of the program.
