Sterling Flight Training is an FAA Knowledge Testing Facility

Sterling Flight Training is a CATS (Computer Assisted Testing Service) authorized testing site. In conjunction with CATS, Sterling Flight Training offers multiple Airmen and Mechanics knowledge based examinations. These FAA written examinations include the following:

  1. Recreational and Private Pilot
  2. Sport Pilot
  3. Instrument Airplane
  4. Commercial Pilot and Military Competence
  5. Flight Engineer
  6. Aircraft Dispatcher and Airline Transport Pilot
  7. Flight Instructor
  8. Airframe, General and Power Plant, and Designated Mechanic Examiner
  9. Parachute Rigger
  10. Pilot Examiner
  11. Unmanned Aircraft Test

To schedule a test, please contact CATS via email at catsscheduling@psionline.com or by phone at 1-800-947-4228. Our CATS testing facility is professionally managed and offers competitive pricing. Each workstation is designed to ensure privacy, and to eliminate distractions such as noise and glare on computer screens.

At the end of your examination, your test results will be immediately determined. Our staff will certify your score sheet, and present it to you prior to your leaving the testing facility.
